Before the official opening of the conference, on Sunday, 20 September 2026, in the afternoon, we invite all conference participants to join one of the guided tours of Krakow. It is a wonderful opportunity to explore the city’s historic streets, remarkable museums, and iconic landmarks while discovering the fascinating story of Poland’s former royal capital.

The 25th Conference of the International Observatory on Participatory Democracy (OIDP), titled “Hope and Renewal in the Face of a Global Crisis of Democracy: The Future of Participatory Democracy from Local to International Governance” will be held in Kraków, Poland, from 21 to 23 September 2026.
