INFORMATION FROM THE DATA CONTROLLER
ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

In accordance with Article 13(1) and (2) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we hereby inform you that the Controller of your personal data is the Mayor of the City of Krakow, with the registered office at Pl. Wszystkich Świętych 3–4, 31‑004 Krakow. You may contact the Controller by post (at the address indicated above) or electronically via the following email address: dk.umk@um.krakow.pl. Personal data will be processed for the purpose of organising the 25th International OIDP Conference. The data are included in the register of processing activities entitled Participants of events organised by the Department of Dialogue, Consultation and Civic Contact as part of educational and informational campaigns.

We inform you that:

1. You have the right to request from the Controller access to your personal data, their rectification, or the restriction of their processing.
2. Personal data will be stored for one year following the conclusion of the event.
3. The recipients of your personal data are: the Scientific Council of the International Observatory on Participatory Democracy (IOPD) Conference Krakow 2026, the association Democracy in Practice, and the company providing service and administrative support: SF-LABS Sp. z o.o.
4. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
5. Providing personal data is voluntary. However, failure to provide the required data will result in the inability to participate in the event.
6. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is the Act of 8 March 1990 on Municipal Self-Government (PL: ustawa z dnia 8 marca 1990 r. o samorządzie gminnym.).

Furthermore, we inform you that you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation.
