REGULATIONS

FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE CALL FOR PROPOSALS
FOR THE OIDP 2026 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

These Regulations define the rules for participation in the OIDP 2026 International Conference as panelists. They apply to all individuals submitting proposals via the Individual Presentation Form, the Fully Formed Panel Form, and the Workshop or Project Presentation Form.

The opening and closing dates for the call for proposals are published on the official website of the OIDP 2026 Conference in Kraków (www.oidp2026.krakow.pl). Submissions sent after the deadline will not be considered. Once the submission form has been sent, no corrections or additions may be made. The Organizer reserves the right to announce an additional supplementary call for proposals under the same terms and conditions.

Submitted proposals will be formally and substantively reviewed by the Scientific Committee of the OIDP Conference 2026 Krakow (Rada Naukowa International Observatory on Participatory Democracy (IOPD) Conference Kraków 2026). The Scientific Committee considers the following criteria:

  1. relevance of the proposal to the conference theme,
  2. quality and consistency of the proposal, and
  3. innovativeness and interdisciplinarity of the proposal.

Moreover, the Scientific Committee ensures that ethnic, gender, and cultural diversity is maintained.

The submitter agrees to the publication of all or part of the submitted abstract in informational and promotional materials related to the conference, both in print and electronic form, including on the conference website and the organizers’ social media channels.

The submitter confirms that all data provided are true, complete, and accurate. The submitter also declares that the submitted materials — including the abstract, presentation title, description, and any attached elements — do not infringe the rights of third parties, including copyright, image rights, or other intellectual property rights.

The submitter of the proposal will be informed of the evaluation results after the Scientific Committee has completed its work. The information will be sent to the email address provided in the submission form.

The submitter also confirms that they have obtained the consent of all co-authors, co-creators, collaborators, or any other individuals whose personal data have been provided in the form, to submit their participation in the conference.

The person submitting the form declares that they are of legal age and that all individuals submitted as panellists, co-authors or moderators are at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity.
